Yesterday, my 17 year old daughter discovered that our cat had caught herself a rabbit. She then took this opportunity to dissect the rabbit (I wonder if she will be a Veterinarian some day). But, in her enthusiam for discovering the rabbit brain, the scalpel cut deep into her hand, so that we could see the fatty tissue of the hand quite a lot. We quickly got a rag and put some pressure onto it and got her inside. Then we got out the jar of Redmond Clay and put her cut into a bowl of the clay. At our house, we always have some Redmond Clay pre-mixed and ready for use. In my opinion, Redmond Clay should be found in all first aid kits. The pain left as soon as the clay touched her hand! After a few minutes, she left the clay and got up to wash her hand and inspect the damage. While her hand was under water, she noticed just how deep the cut is. It was bleeding quite a bit and throbbing a lot! After she was done cleaning herself up, we put a glob of clay onto the cut and then wrapped her wrist and hand in plastic wrap and then a bandage. OH, and she has absolutely zero pain or throbbing with the clay on! Today, her hand looks like a raisin, but it the wound is closing up and healing. I love Redmond Clay — it my favorite product lately! It has hundreds of applications.
